As a Pokémon expert, I can tell you that Carbink is a Rock/Fairy type Pokémon and Diancie is also a Rock/Fairy type Pokémon. However, in the Pokémon games, Carbink does not evolve into Diancie. They are separate species. Diancie was introduced in Generation VI and has the ability to evolve into Mega Diancie when it holds a Reveal Glass and is traded.
