I don't get slurring and stumbling until I'm 3/4 to blackout drunk. I usually drink 80%, and to get to what *I* consider to be regular drunk, I'd say around 5-6 shots of that, so double it for 40%. 10-12 shots. If you want slurring and stumbling, we're talking almost an entire bottle of 80%.
